Absolutely! Jimmy carries a Texas Food Manager Certification, Trish has a Texas Food Handler Certification and anyone who we employ is required to currently have or obtain a Texas Food Handler Certification upon employment.
We cater for birthdays, weddings, family reunions, business meetings, business events, neighborhood block parties, and many more. If your event is not mentioned here, please call or email us and ask.
Once you have your event date, and some what of a plan, take a look above to get an idea of what food options we provide. Reach out to us by phone or email to make sure we have your date available. If the date is open, we will discuss the finer details, food selections and such. Once all details are decided upon, we'll send you a contract that needs to be signed, make your deposit and your catering event is "in the works."
Our full menu is not available for catering, such as fried food like french fries and fried okra. The quality will take a hit but if you have something in mind that's not listed, reach out to us and we'll do our best to prepare it for you!
The final count is due no later than seven (7) days prior to the event.
As most caterers require a non-refundable deposit, we offer a partial refund of your deposit - outlined as:
If a cancellation or breach of this contract is made 14 business days prior to the event, you shall receive 50% of the deposit monies paid - and Smoke & Time BBQ will retain the other 50%.
If a cancellation or breach of this contract is made 10 business days or less from the event date, you forfeit 100% of the deposit monies paid. Smoke & Time will retain 100%.

We accept all credit cards, debit cards, cash, Venmo and Zelle. The ID number for Venmo and Zelle are given on the Catering Contract.
A typical guideline we use is one-quarter pound of meat and one-half cup of each side per person.
As an example - for a 50 person event with 2 meats and 2 sides, you'd need to order approximately 12 pounds of each to allow for a few heavier eaters.
There's many factors that need to be taken into consideration such as the final guest count, and the type of desired setup, just to name a couple, that determines the space needed.
All prepared food under the event contract will be left with the host of the event.

If there is an act of nature that prevents your event from taking place on the date of your scheduled event, Smoke & Time will allow a reschedule for the full amount of the event within 3 months, as long as we have that desired date available. If a reschedule cannot take place within that time, then the client will be responsible for 100% of the cost of the food and scheduled staff.
We supply our own banquet tables and black cloths for a standard buffet style setup for on-location catering as needed.
Many venues will provide the tables needed for buffet's, but if not, we've got it covered.
Unfortunately, at this time we don't have guest tables or coverings available.
If you book us for an on-location full service cater, we include high-end black or clear plastic plates along with plastic forks, knives and napkins. We will also supply the buffet chaffers, burners and serving utensils.
For delivery and pick up catering orders. we charge separately for the "plate service", which is a plate, fork, knife and napkin.
For Deliveries:
There is a minimum order of 40 plates + $20 delivery fee for any delivery made within 20 miles one way from our restaurant.
For deliveries outside of the 20 mile radius, there is a minimum order of 40 plates + $20 delivery fee + $1.00 per mile over 20 miles one way from our restaurant.
For Full Service Catering:
There is an 80 plate minimum requirement. We cater within 20 miles of the restaurant location at no charge- anything outside of the 20 mile radius will include a delivery fee of $1.00/ per mile over 20 miles one way from our restaurant.
At this time the Airstream is on hiatus but we will let everyone know when it is available for special events and private parties.
